SolarNation.ng ensures products are delivered within 7 days after you have placed your order. We ensure that products get to customers without defect and fully functional.


All products sold through the SolarNation.ng online shop are usually being delivered in person by our staff, agents, franchise partner or being picked up at the closest shop outlet nearest to the buyer. Thus, there is little or no risk of products getting damaged or experiencing operational issue. However, should there be any damage, issue or defect in the product please endeavor to reach out to us, so that we can look into correcting or repairing as the case maybe whatever the issue maybe so as to enjoy our products and services maximally. ORDER CANCELLATION:

  • 1. Order Cancellation is allowed only till the time the order is not shipped. Once shipped an order cannot be cancelled.
  • 2. You can cancel your order anytime, however with the following applicable charges
    • o - Within 24 Hours of placing the order – No Penalty
    • o - After 24 Hours of placing the order – 10% deduction of Invoice Value
  • 3. You need to send us the cancellation request by mailing us at [email protected], or by contacting us on our Customer care line +234 814 222 2299, order details must be mentioned for proper processing.
  • 4. In case of prepaid orders with online payment (credit card/debit card/ Wallet/ bank transfers) the refund will be done in the same payment mode as originally used while placing the order.
  • 5. In most of the cases the refund takes 5-7 working days to reflect in your account, after we process your refund request.
  • 6. In case the payment mode is bank transfer or Cash on Delivery, you will have to send us account details you would like to receive your refund.


Solar Nation reserves the right to cancel an order under any of the below mentioned circumstances:

  • 1. Error / Mistake in product information on our website (error in price, specification, quantity etc.)
  • 2. Wrong or incomplete details provided while placing the order (incomplete address, wrong or no PIN code, phone number, etc.).
  • 3. Product not available.
  • 4. Delivery address is out of service area
  • 5. Suspicious activities best known to the us.



PRODUCT RETURN:

If for any reason, you want to return the product bought, you are free to do so, But this can only be done either before products have been shipped to you, or right at the time of delivery and same day. On this note the penalty for cancellation will still apply. The return request would need to be sent through your registered email with us with which the purchase was made. The email would be sent to [email protected] or can be done by calling our customer care line on +234 814 222 2299, stating your order details is relevant for easy processing.


However we will have to ensure that the product has not been used by you or tampered with in anyway before requesting for the return. After the product delivery no return request will be entertained.


Please ensure that you check the product thoroughly at the time of delivery. You have the liberty of refusing a product with a physical damage or defect. But if you choose to overlook it and accept it, you can state in your remarks the damages and defects in your Proof Of Delivery document to be signed by you. In case where you choose to accept the product without stating the defect, Solar Nation would be at liberty not to entertain any complaint whatsoever with regards that particular product / service.



PRODUCT REPLACEMENT:

At Solar Nation we partner with reliable firms who have made reputable names in the Renewable energy industry. However we endeavor to sell premium quality products to buyers. Due to the wide variety of products and manufacturers different products come with different warranty period. However if there is any issue in the product sold we will be happy to assist you with the right solution like repairs, replacement (in relation to the warranty offered) or service as the case may be.


We will replace your products till 3 days from the day of delivery at your place. The replacement would be considered in the following circumstances

  • 1. Product delivered was different from what you ordered (different model, size, make, specifications, etc.).All the parts of the product should be intact and in functional state.
  • 2. The product delivered was damaged or defective or used.
  • 3. Some parts/accessories of the products were missing.

In all above cases of product replacement, you will be provided with a fresh product. Refunds will be provided only if we are not able to provide you a replacement product.


Replacement or refund will not be issued under following conditions:

  • 1. The request is made beyond the above specified time frame.
  • 2. Product does not attract warranty from manufacturers.
  • 3. Missing original packaging and accessories, including the retail box, manuals, cables, and all other items originally included with the product at the time of delivery.
  • 4. You have used the products or product is damaged in some way after the delivery.
  • 5. Product is not in the same condition as you received it.
  • 6. Any accessary or consumable item which has been used or installed.
  • 7. Serial Numbers of the Products are tampered with or missing.
Beyond this time frame the Products would be repaired as per the Service and Warranty Policy.



RETURN PROCESS:

1. Initiate Return: Write us a mail at [email protected] or by contacting us on our Customer Care Phone No 18001030576, mentioning the following details:

  • • Order Number
  • • Product you want to return/ Serial Code Number
  • • Clear images of the product and packaging highlighting the issue
  • • Invoice Copy
  • • Clearly scanned or photographed bank statement of Payment Or Screenshot of Payment if payment was done via bank transfer.


2. Reverse Pickup/ Self-ship: Once your return request is accepted, you will be requested to repack the product with original packing and invoice. In case reverse pickup facility is not available at your location, please ship the package to our pre-informed location by courier service. The courier charges would be reimbursed.


3. Product Inspection: Once the return parcel reaches our location, we will do a thorough inspection and will initiate replacement/refund only after we are satisfied with the genuineness of the return request and condition of the product. In case we find that above guidelines are not met, we will return the product back to you without replacement/refund.


4. Replacement/Refund: The replacement product will be shipped to you within 7 working days. If replacement can’t be provided we will refund the entire amount.
